Gomoku — 15-line Five in a Row against AI or a friend

Gomoku is the classic board game where the first player to line up five stones in a row, column, or diagonal wins. It runs right in your browser with no install, so you can practice solo against the AI or pass one device back and forth with a friend.

How to use

  1. Pick "Vs AI" or "2 Players" from the top toolbar.
  2. Tap an intersection on the 15×15 board to place a stone. In AI mode you are Black and move first.
  3. Made a mistake? Tap "Undo". In AI mode both your move and the AI's reply are taken back together.
  4. Connect five stones first to trigger the win message, then tap "New Game" to restart.

Features & tips

  • The AI is a heuristic opponent that weighs its own attacks against blocking yours, so a careless move can be punished fast.
  • The most recent stone is marked with a small dot so you never lose track of the last move.
  • Build an open three (a row of three open on both ends) to threaten two winning fours at once.

FAQ

Q. Are there forbidden-move rules like double-three? A. No. This uses free rules with no renju restrictions, so simply connect five stones first to win.

Q. How strong is the AI? A. It suits beginners and intermediate players. Force open fours or fork threats to beat it.

Q. How many times can I undo? A. All the way back to the first move, so you can replay from any position you like.
