Mahjong Solitaire โ a classic tile-matching puzzle with hint, shuffle, and undo
Clear a stacked layout of mahjong tiles by finding two tiles with the same picture and removing them, in the classic Shanghai style. It runs right in your browser with no install, making it a perfect fit for a short break or a light way to unwind and focus.
How to use
- You can only pick a free tile โ one with nothing on top of it and at least one open side (left or right).
- Tap two matching free tiles in turn and they disappear.
- Keep matching pairs until every tile is gone to clear the board.
Features & tips
- Bright tiles are the free tiles you can pick right now; dimmed tiles are blocked.
- Press Hint to briefly highlight a pair you can match at the moment.
- If no pairs are left, use Shuffle to rearrange the remaining tiles.
- Use Undo to bring back the pair you just removed and fix a mistake.
FAQ
Q. What exactly is a "free tile"? A. It is a tile with no tile covering it from above and an open space on its left or right, so it can be slid out.
Q. Which tiles can be matched? A. Two tiles with an identical picture form a pair (for example, 5-circle with 5-circle, or East with East).
Q. I'm stuck and can't continue. A. Use Hint to check for a pair, and Shuffle to rearrange if none exist. If it is still too hard, just start a new game.
